Shredding Specialist

Position Purpose This is a hands‑on, branch‑based role, where you will work as part of the local operations team, with responsibility for the receipt, sorting and subsequent loading of customer’s confidential waste into an automated shredder – ensuring we always adhere to and maintain the highest standards of health and safety. Key Job Activities Operating and maintaining baling machinery, ensuring all bales are tagged or loaded, ready for shipment Co‑ordinating the nightly parking of all trucks at the branch in preparation for next day transport operations Undertaking a various range of associated and traditional warehousing tasks in support of branch requirement Education Required Education: in GCSE Experience Practical and relevant warehouse or plant experience – preferred but not essential Certifications And/or Licenses Driving Licence would be advantageous Benefits Contributory Pension Scheme Life Insurance Cycle to Work Scheme Access to SteriCares, our employee support fund Stericycle University – Our online library of self‑development it should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and requirements of the job.
