Overview

Talent Acquisition Specialist at Stericycle UK & Ireland. At Stericycle, our Outbound Sales Representatives are at the forefront of our mission to Protect What Matters. In this role you’ll be focused on Business-to-Business sales every day. This is not a call centre; this is a commercial sales office and you will be the first voice prospective clients hear. You’ll source and develop your own sales leads, qualify them, and put together bespoke proposals to convert prospects into spending accounts.

We deal in waste compliance solutions, including the disposal and recycling of clinical waste and supporting businesses with policy and process solutions. This role supports hospitals, labs, dentists, tattoo artists, and private healthcare settings among others, as a key member of our commercial team.

Key responsibilities

  • Using Salesforce (our CRM), make outbound calls to prospective businesses to drive new customer acquisition and convert leads into customers.
  • Sell our suite of Regulated Waste & Compliance Services by identifying needs, making recommendations, and delivering bespoke solutions nationwide.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects and build future sales through customer relationship management and market awareness.

To succeed in this role

  • Be commercially aware with the ability to craft profitable proposals that meet internal guidelines (training provided).
  • Drive cost of revenue and margins; understand the fundamentals of \”the how\” behind revenue.
  • Have targets to achieve and stay focused on them for ongoing success.
  • Be organized and self-aware; follow up on leads and plan your day/week/month ahead.

How you’ll demonstrate your ability

  • Have a proven track record of commercial success, whether in a sales consultant role or other relevant experience.
  • Experience in B2B sales is ideal; strong B2C success is also valuable. If you’re passionate and driven for a career in sales, we want to hear from you.
