Role Overview
Responsible for welcoming guests, managing queues, and ensuring a safe and organised entrance to the venue.
This role combines hospitality and security awareness, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive guest experience while supporting venue policies and safety procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guest Welcome and Check-In
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally as they arrive at the venue.
- Check guests in using the Zenchef and Dice systems.
- Accurately record guest information and manage entry lists.
- Organise and manage guest queues efficiently and safely.
- Communicate wait times clearly and maintain a positive queue experience.
- Assist guests with questions or concerns while they are waiting.
- Safety and Compliance
- Monitor guest behaviour within the queue to prevent disturbances or issues.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of guests waiting outside the venue.
- Follow all relevant licensing regulations and venue policies.
- Communication and Team Support
- Wear a radio and maintain communication with the managers
- Provide updates on queue status
- Support the security team in maintaining order and addressing concerns when needed.
