Senior Bartender in City of Westminster

Inspired by the vibrant late-night cultures of New York and London, complete with the undertones of Parisian chic, STEREO offers a masterfully curated mix of music, food, and drinks. STEREO features an extensive drinks menu, American inspired culinary bar classics, and an eclectic and dynamic music programme. The bar offering sees local products from Partizan Brewery and Thames Distillers (including a STEREO house vodka & gin). The music ties it all together, with a rotating series of resident DJs and curated one-off performances.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience, knowledge of mixology, toppresentation, ambition, zero pretension - this is what we are looking for inour bartenders. The Bartender must be impeccable in allareas of activity - cocktails, cleanliness of their bar station, guestrelation, speech and presentation.

Cocktails

• Learn the cocktails on the menu and the list ofclassic cocktails provided. Understand and know about the products used.
• Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails,respecting our basic rules: use of jiggers at all times, perfectly measured,clean bar tools, swift response time. All while adhering to our principle ofaiming to provide the best drinking experience without a hint of pretension.
• Communicate to the servers and barbacks needswell in advance.
• Participate in the creation of the cocktailmenu.
• Assist in training and development of barbacksand junior bartenders.
• Act as a leader during service.

Guest Relations

• Greet and interact with guests.
• In cooperation with the Servers, ensure that theclient is seated, provided with a menu, and thoroughly taken care of from thatpoint forward.
• If the server is absent for whatever reason, thebartender nonetheless ensures that the clients’ needs are covered.
• Create a welcoming environment for guests,assess their needs, present the cocktails menu and make recommendations.
• Take drinks orders.

Cleanliness,opening and closing of the bar

• Responsible for the opening and the closing ofthe bar, following the procedural list, from the set-up to taking out therubbish at the end of the evening, and everything in between.
• The opening and closing duties are part of acollective effort from all team members, as is the cleanliness of the barthroughout the entire service.
• Apply all food and beverage safety and qualityregulations.

Communication& Reporting

• Communicate with the Bar Manager for inventoryissues, client comments, and general reporting.
• Comply with all reasonable direction and/orrequests from the Management Team.

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in a similar role withina cocktail bar.
• Have excellent spirits& classic cocktails knowledge.
• Attention to details and customerneeds.
• Social, engaging and motivated.
• Flexibility to respond quickly andpositively to a range of work situations.
• Be well spoken with excellentcommunication skills.
• Knowledge as well as abilities inother languages would be beneficial.
• Proof of eligibility to work in theUK.
