Join our team and you'll be responsible for overseeing and optimising operations of the technology area within your portfolio, whilst collaborating with other business lines to ensure the seamless delivery of technology solutions across the organisation and ensuring that the technology group operates efficiently, meets business goals, and is in alignment with the overall strategy of the company.
Working in the User Products portfolio, you will act as a key liaison between technology and product leadership, business units, portfolios, and development teams to ensure effective planning, execution, and reporting of initiatives. You will play a vital role as we reimagine the labour market to make it work for everybody.
Your responsibilities:
- Take full accountability for one or more technology systems and processes, proactively monitoring performance, implementing improvements, and driving enhancements that deliver measurable business value while reducing operational costs.
- Lead technology planning and roadmap development for the business area, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align quarterly and annual initiatives with company strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the full Product and Software Development Lifecycle, tracking project dependencies across business lines to identify, assess, and proactively resolve risks, issues, and bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technology and business units, providing clear and actionable project status updates, progress reports, and risk assessments to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
- Analyse delivery metrics, system performance, and business outcomes to provide insights and recommendations to technology leadership, while continuously reviewing operational processes to optimise efficiency and reduce technical debt.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in managing multiple cross-function technology or data-driven projects, systems or processes simultaneously.
- Experience of working in, or closely with software development teams and a solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies is essential.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex technical issues, translate data into actionable insights, and independently develop innovative solutions with minimal supervision and capable of identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements aligned with business goals.
- Able to convey complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including executive leadership, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
- Experienced with industry-standard delivery and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office) to effectively track progress, manage tasks, facilitate transparent reporting, and enable cross-functional collaboration.
