Position Overview
We are seeking an Associate / Senior Associate to join SRE’s Business Development team.
The individual will be responsible for supporting the firm’s real estate business development efforts across primaries, co‑investments and secondaries.
Responsibilities will include supporting fundraising processes, content creation, and periodic interactions with existing and prospective clients.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop content for marketing and due diligence materials including presentations, fact cards, private placement memorandums, due diligence questionnaires, etc.
- Prepare responses to requests for information and proposals, track record analyses, third‑party databases, competitor benchmarking and investor requests.
- Manage investor pipelines via Salesforce, tracking progression and preparing reports for senior stakeholders.
- Support the preparation and execution of investor meetings and roadshows including materials and tracking follow‑up.
- Collaborate across departments including research, asset and portfolio management, RFP, legal and compliance, tax, and portfolio reporting and analytics.
- Contribute to other business development initiatives as they arise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2–6 years of relevant work experience from financial services firms (e. g., private equity, capital advisory/placement agents, investment banks).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Power Point and Word); proficiency with AI tools such as Claude and Copilot.
- Experience with Salesforce or Intralinks desirable.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the firm in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self‑starter with the ability to set priorities, manage deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team‑oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with private markets performance metrics to accurately maintain track record materials, support fund benchmarking, and respond to investor requests.
