About the Role
As a Registered Manager, you will play a crucial leadership role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care services. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of care meets the highest standards while promoting the well-being of service users. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of care staff to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
- Overseeing the implementation and compliance with care plans, policies, and procedures.
- Ensuring the care service adheres to all regulatory standards and legislation.
- Managing client care assessments, monitoring, and reviews to ensure individual needs are met.
- Taking responsibility for recruitment, training, and development of the care team.
- Building strong relationships with service users, families, and external agencies.
- Responding to and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensuring financial management, including budgets and resources, are handled effectively.
- Conducting audits and inspections to monitor and improve the quality of care.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager within home care or a similar sector.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, home care legislation, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding service users.
