Support Worker

Steps Ahead Care & Support, established in 2009 are ratedOUTSTANDINGby CQC and are specialists in acquired brain injury, spinal injuries, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. We offerbespokepackages to clients in their own homes and our support team help build our ethos by promoting client’sindependenceand offering themcommunity-basedand orrehabilitationsupport.

We are looking to recruitpassionate & enthusiasticsupport workers to join Team Steps and become part of what we believe to be, something incrediblyrewarding and person centred.

This role is based inSouth Brentand surrounding areas and a variety of hours and working patterns are available on anAGENCYbasis so you can fit your working patterns around your life.

This particular client has astrong interestin keeping active and will enjoy partaking in activities to help break up his day.

18 hours per week, Monday-Friday 08:00-14:00

Responsibilities will include:

· Arranging & support to attend appointments

· Promoting the clients rehab & goals, and motivating the client to achieve.

· Accessing the community

. Medication Administration

. Personal care

Requirements for the position:

The chosen individuals will be enthusiastic, reliable and self – motivated. Six months health and social care experience is preferable, however, transferrable skills and personal experience will be considered.
