Stepping Stones Montessori Nursery has an opportunity for a Preschool Early Years Educator to join our team. This position can be full time or part time up to 37.5hrs per week that will be worked over 3 or 4 days. You must have experience of working in a Preschool or Early Years setting and be professional and organised.
The successful applicant will be passionate about working with children and have a caring and nurturing nature to support individual children\'s emotional well-being. You will also have knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
Ideally you will have your own transport due to the village location of the nursery as we are based on the outskirts of Chester and not on a bus route.
Key requirements:
- Level 3 Childcare or Early Years Education Qualification (or equivalent)
Key responsibilities:
- Be a keyworker and follow the EYFS framework, gaining observations and contributing to the child\'s learning journey
- To produce a stimulating environment that is safe for the children, ensure indoors and outdoors areas are set up and enhanced for children\'s learning
- Support children\'s daily routines, keeping them safe at all times
- Plan activities and learning experiences based upon children\'s interests and level of development.
- Ensure Safeguarding guidelines are followed consistently
- Ensure the well-being of the children is met as a priority.
- Carry out tracking and assessments based on the key child\'s development
- Support children\'s transitions between rooms and when leaving for school
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents
- Assist with planning events for children and families
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £25,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 37 per week
