Please note: £36,153.00 would be inclusive of Sleep in Shifts at £50 per night with an average of 9 per month & approx. 30 hours overtime per month.

We have opportunities for Residential Support Workers to join our dynamic teams within our semi-rural children's homes in the Abergavenny/Newport area, supporting Young People with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties. We provide a homely environment where Young People feel safe, supported, and nurtured.

Requirements to be a Residential Support Worker:
- Essential
- Full UK manual drivers licence
- Minimum age 22
- Passion to make a difference
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Ability to remain calm and patient under pressure
- Basic IT skills
- Flexibility for shift work, including weekends & sleep ins
- Able to act as a positive role model
Desirable
- Experience of working with children
- Registered with Social Care Wales or must register within initial 6 months in residential care
- Experience of working within the care sector
- Welsh Speaker
