This is a varied role covering policy development and governance, health & safety assurance, compliance, customer insight and organisational improvement. You will work across SSP to ensure our policies and procedures are effective, our assurance arrangements are robust, and learning from data, audits, incidents and customer feedback leads to practical improvement.
You will:
- Lead the development, review and coordination of SSP's policy framework, ensuring policies, procedures and guidance reflect legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Coordinate health & safety assurance and compliance monitoring, providing oversight of statutory requirements, actions, incidents and organisational learning.
- Use data, customer feedback, audit findings and operational insight to identify risks, trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality standards, assurance processes and improvement initiatives.
- Produce clear reports, dashboards and recommendations for managers, senior leaders and Trustees.
- Build effective relationships across SSP, providing constructive challenge, advice and support to improve quality and outcomes.
- Lead, coach and develop a small team, promoting a positive culture of learning, accountability and continuous improvement.
