The role: Stepney All Saints School is seeking a well-qualified and committed Teacher of English to join the school on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will teach English to students across the school, planning and delivering engaging lessons that enable every student to fulfil their potential. In addition to academic responsibilities, the role includes contributing to the pastoral life of the school.
About you: We are looking for a well-qualified individual, with a degree in English who can teach both Language and Literature from KS3 to A Level. There is a great deal of support within the department and through the School’s Professional Studies programme for people looking to continue their early career in teaching.
The English Department: The English Department is highly qualified, creative and committed to excellence in teaching and learning. We foster enthusiasm for literature within and beyond the classroom, encouraging ambitious wider reading. The department supports a rich extra-curricular programme that includes theatre trips, museum visits, university lectures, creative writing workshops and book groups.
