Stepnell Ltd is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Class 1 HGV/Hiab Driver to join our expanding team at Rugby. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Loading, securing, and transporting construction plant equipment and site accommodation between sites.
  • Handling your loads with care and confidence, ensuring everything is safe, secure, and compliant with all regulations.
  • Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects straight away – keeping safety and compliance front of mind.
  • Capturing delivery and collection details, logging any damage or cleaning needs, and taking photos for records.
  • Helping maintain the cleanliness and light upkeep of your vehicle – you take pride in your ride!
  • Pitching in around the depot when you're not out on the road – whether that’s cleaning plant equipment or getting kit ready for hire.
  • Delivering great customer service every step of the way.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm (Early finish Fridays – 5:15pm!)
  • No overnight stays – you’ll be home every evening!
  • No weekend work.

What You’ll Need:

  • A clean, valid Class 1 HGV Licence.
  • ALLMI Hiab Licence (essential).
  • Experience transporting and securing plant equipment and abnormal loads (ideal).
  • NPORS or CPCS Loader Securer (advantageous).
  • A sharp eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confidence to work independently and manage your time well.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and great communication skills.
