A Social Value Coordinator will play a hands-on part in helping to undertake meaningful Social Value commitments for our projects as well as organising and carrying out activities and ensuring we capture and record the outcomes for our impact analysis. We are seeking an individual that may not be able to meet the full list of requirements but more importantly can show passion and enthusiasm for wanting to make a change. They must be friendly and have a strong sense of integrity and ethical values that you are willing to stand by.

Job Description:
- Reports to and works very closely with the Southern Region Social Value Manager.
- Works very closely with the Bristol Project Teams.
- Engaging and building relationships with stakeholders, communities and VCSEs.
- Ensure quality assured compliance and achievement of company and project targets for Social Value.
- Engage with our internal teams, our clients and our supply chain in the delivery and implementation of project specific social value plans.
- Ensure social value is recorded and monitored using internal data management systems.
- Maintain Bristol social value reports.
- Act as Smartwaste champion for the Bristol Business Hub.
- Produce outcome-based project and initiative reports, case studies and monthly reports.
- You will be a crucial part of promoting and advocating for a Fair, Inclusive and Respectful workplace culture that promotes wellbeing, collaboration and excellence.
- Coordinate work experience programmes and act as a point of contact.
- Provide site teams with Social Value and Smartwaste content/data to site managers to include in their CCS presentations and client reports.
- Research and Local Needs Analysis to create new and valuable Social Value opportunities.
- Coordination and administration of social value activities on Bristol projects.
- Supporting and participating in social value activities in different settings for example, schools, jobcentres, prisons, community organisations.
- Assist the Southern Marketing Manager with internal and external marketing and comms content.
- Represent Stepnell at selected events and conferences.
What we are looking for:
- Experience working in a Social Impact related role or organisation.
- Ability to engage positively with all stakeholders.
- Passion for the underlying principles and values of Social Value.
- Empathy and understanding of social challenges and why they exist.
- Up to date on Social Value legislation and best practice.
- Experience in planning, scheduling, organising, and coordinating events.
- Efficient organisation skills.
- Ability to prioritise your workload and meet multiple deadlines with multiple projects and individuals.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
- Willingness to learn and do substantial travel.
- Detail orientated approach to administrative tasks and numerical proficiency.
- Excellent IT literacy, particularly in using Google packages such as Sheets, Meet and Drive.
- Awareness/Experience of the National Social Value Themes Outcomes and Measurements (TOMS) or other social value calculators and able to input, run and produce social impact reports.
- Certification in a social or sustainable subject or significant place-based experience.
- Experience within the Built Environment/Local Authority/community organisation or non-profit sector.
