Lead the global marketing strategy and execution for Steplab, driving brand growth and campaign effectiveness across the UK, USA, AU, and English‐medium international schools.

Location & Salary

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with global growth targets.
  • Build a clear, consistent global brand that positions Steplab as a key partner for schools.
  • Design and oversee engagement communications across the entire customer journey to support partner retention.
  • Initially manage and mentor the Marketing Manager; subsequently grow and lead a marketing team.
  • Transition outsourced paid media campaigns in‐house as the team expands.
  • Lead integrated campaigns across paid, organic, and email channels, using data‐driven insights to refine performance.
  • Develop global organic search and paid media strategies to increase visibility and manage technical SEO and keyword research.
  • Produce clear ROI reports on campaign impact.
  • Lead a content strategy rooted in Steplab's pedagogical expertise, producing high‐quality thought leadership.
  • Oversee the execution of webinars, white papers, and research‐led campaigns that deliver value to the education community.
  • Approve all external communications to ensure alignment with brand tone and style.
  • Maintain consistency in branding and templates across all organisational assets, both digital and printed.

Qualifications

  • Senior marketing leadership experience within the education sector.
  • Strong strategic skills: use data to inform decisions, plan, and organise cross‐functional initiatives from idea to execution.
  • Proven ability to scale marketing capabilities within a small, high‐performance team.
  • Experience leading event, organic, paid, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Experience designing and creating high‐quality marketing assets and communications.
  • Experience developing end‐to‐end communications strategies for the customer journey.
  • Creative thinking: develop unique and engaging strategies that resonate with school leaders and position Steplab as an expert in teacher professional development.
  • Budget management expertise in marketing.
  • Desirable: AI literacy – use of AI to optimise internal workflows and enhance data analytics.
