About the Role
We are looking for a London-based Operations and Administrative Assistant with at least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or related role. Ideally, with experience working in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Organising and responding to user enquiries
- CRM entry and management
- Operational and administrative support in the planning and delivery of Steplab events
- Office management
- Managing and updating content on our platform
- Supporting the wider Steplab team in delivering projects
Skills and experience
- Evidence of at least 1-2 years of administrative experience, ideally in a school setting, e.g., school reception or office role
- Have a high standard of written and verbal communications
- Have very high attention to detail
- Experience in CRM and data management
- Proficiency in using Microsoft suite
- Have exceptional organisation, planning and administrative abilities, including the ability to prioritise own workload
- Experience of working in fast paced environment with high performing teams.
Our productivity tools include Notion, Slack, Google Workspace and more. You’ll be given a MacBook Pro.

- What’s the remote working policy? We have an office in central London, in Highbury and Islington. We tend to come in around once per month, but we’re really flexible if you want to come in more than that.
- Will I get to spend any time in schools? We believe that the entire Steplab team, whether you work in technology, support or teacher training, should get to experience the good Steplab does, day in day out, hands-on.
