We are now recruiting graduates for our full-time Graduate SEND & SEMH Programme starting September 2026, with interviews taking place throughout May and June. This specialist programme is based in Salford, offering placements across a range of schools and provisions that support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and complex learning profiles. Each placement is carefully matched to your interests, giving you invaluable insight into specialist education settings.

What You’ll Gain:

Role Details:

  • Position: Graduate SEND & SEMH Academic Coach
  • Location: Salford
  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Interview Period: May – June 2026
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term‑time only)
  • Pay: £500–£530 per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND, SEMH, and complex needs
  • Supporting emotional regulation and implementing behaviour strategies
  • Assisting with personalised learning plans and targeted interventions
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils to support engagement
  • Working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
  • Helping create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

We’re Looking For Graduates Who:

  • Hold (or are predicted) a 2:2 degree or above
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
  • Are patient, resilient, and empathetic
  • Can remain calm and consistent in challenging situations
