The Role:

  • Design and deliver a high-quality, engaging group tutorial programme for 16–18 students.
  • Deliver a curriculum that supports personal development, wellbeing, and preparation for life beyond college.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Personal Development Speakers programme, offering advice and guidance on a range of relevant topics.
  • Support students applying to higher education through the UCAS process, including guidance on personal statements and course choices.
  • Collate, write, and upload high-quality references that support positive student progression.
  • Provide clear and supportive guidance on Student Finance and the application process.
  • Offer advice and support to students exploring apprenticeship and employment opportunities.
  • Participate in key college events such as New Student Induction, UCAS Parents Evening, and Results Day workshops.
  • Assist the Futures Team in collecting and reporting on intended and actual student destinations.
  • Support the wider college community by acting as an exam invigilator and providing cover within the tutorial team when needed.
  • Engage in regular appraisal and continuous professional development.
  • Undertake other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility.
