Graduate Teaching Assistants β English, Maths & Science Leicester | Full-Time | September Start

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join abrand-new school opening in Leicester this September. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivatedGraduate Teaching Assistantsto support students acrossEnglish, Mathematics, and Science.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching or education, offering invaluable classroom experience within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
Working alongside experienced teaching staff, you will:
- Support students in English, Maths or Science lessons.
- Deliver targeted intervention sessions on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Help raise attainment and build students' confidence in their subject knowledge.
- Support pupils with varying learning needs, including those with SEND where required.
- Assist with lesson preparation, classroom activities and behaviour management.
- Build positive relationships with students and contribute to a culture of high expectations.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking graduates who have:
- Adegree in English, English Literature, Mathematics, Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related subject.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, positive and resilient attitude.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Previous experience working with children, tutoring, mentoring, coaching or supporting young people is desirable but not essential.
