The Opportunity:

  • Graduate Academic Coach, Hereford
  • Graduates with a 2:2 or above Hons degree required
  • Aspiring teachers/educational psychologists/SEN Teachers
  • Secondary school – rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted
  • Full-time roles – Monday - Friday
  • Roles starting asap for the academic year 26/27
  • £500- £530 per week - term time only

The successful graduate must:

  • Be enthusiastic, confident and approachable
  • Have strong subject knowledge within English, Maths and Science (GCSE A* - C)
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a large team
  • Have strong communication and behaviour skills
  • Be able to inspire and motivate children in the classroom
  • Have high expectations and be committed to seeing all children reach their full potential
  • Be able to deliver well structured lessons for small groups/1:1 sessions
  • Be flexible and self-motivated

In this role, you will focus on managing students during class-based activities. Additionally, you will be required to work with small groups both inside and outside the classroom and lead 1:1 sessions. Furthermore, you will be required to assist the class teacher in preparing and setting up class activities. You will also be supporting SEND students. These are highly rewarding roles, and ideal for a graduate who is seriously considering a career within education.
