The SEN Academic CoachOpportunity:
- SEN Teaching Assistant
- Aspiring educational psychologists/ SEN Teachers
- 1:1 & Small Group Interventions
- Monday - Friday (term time only)
- £565 - £575 per week
- Start September for the full academic year and beyond.
SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Working alongside children who need additional support inside and outside the classroom.
- Leading sessions outside the classroom with both 1:1 and small groups.
- Confident and passionate about supporting and improving others.
- Working along side other professionals to assess children.
- Supporting children to ensure they feel safe and secure both at school and at home.
- Planning and resourcing intervention session
Who are Step Into Teaching?
We are a pre-teacher training programme that is designed to support and encourage graduates like yourself to choose teaching. We will typically provide you with one year’s worth of practical school-based experience that is an essential foundation for a long‑lasting successful career in teaching, educational psychology or counselling. This experience will allow you to qualify for teacher training in the future but will also give you insight into whether teaching is for you.
