Step Into Teaching are supporting a fantastic Primary School in Gloucester (GL1) who are looking for a BSL Teaching Assistant. They would need someone who has a BSL qualification (or at least signing/sign supported English experience) to help support this child. This role involves providing dedicated support to a pupil who is Deaf, helping them access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.

The opportunity:

  • BSL Teaching Assistant
  • £480 - £510 weekly – term time only!
  • Based in Gloucestershire (GL1)
  • Full time role (Monday - Friday) for the full academic year
  • Starting ASAP until July 2026 - as a minimum
  • Gain classroom experience first before training to become a teacher

Job Specification:

  • Hold a degree (2:2 or above)
  • BSL qualification or signing/sign supported English experience
