Step Into Teaching is supporting a fantastic school in the Dorking area (RH5) to recruit a Graduate Student Welfare Practitioner to join their team. This is a great opportunity at a supportive school, offering real progression and stability.
The school offers specialist education with integrated therapeutic support for students aged 7–19 with a range of special educational needs — including autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and social communication or anxiety-related difficulties.

We’re looking for someone who is:
- A recent psychology (or related) graduate (degree 2:2 or above)
- Supportive, empathetic, and approachable
- Resilient, reflective, and motivated to make a difference
- Committed to working in education long‑term
- Interested in SEN, mental health, and inclusive learning
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential - the school provides training and values a proactive, team‑focused attitude.
