About the Role

Our Step Into Teaching programme offers a year-long, full-time placement in a local Primary school near Chippenham, giving you the opportunity to gain vital experience before starting teacher training. As part of this program, you’ll work closely with teachers and pupils every day, developing practical skills and confidence in the classroom while making a real difference to young people’s lives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting teachers with lessons and classroom activities.
- Working with pupils in small groups or one-to-one to boost learning.
- Helping create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Assisting with classroom organisation, displays, and resources.
