- Office base: Wigan, WN3 5BA
- 35 hours per week
What Makes This Role Great
Working with us in the Interventions Team will give you a unique insight into legal finance, regulatory compliance, and client care. You’ll gain hands-on experience in:
- Attending interventions across the UK
- Reviewing and reconciling financial records
- Producing reconciled lists of accounts for Statutory Trust funds
- Analysing client ledgers to determine beneficial entitlement
- Locating supporting evidence from accounting material or client files
- Liaising with clients and third parties to verify transactions
- Supporting the claims process and reporting to regulatory bodies
- Assisting with monthly billing and administrative tasks

About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Qualifications
- Essential: Relevant work experience in legal accounts or solicitors firm
- Desirable: Experience as a Legal Cashier
- Essential: Experience of dealing with customers/clients
- Experience of working with financial accounts
- Experience of dealing with high volumes of enquiries
- Desirable: Experience of using various case management systems/accounts software
- Essential: Good standard of IT skills (including Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Adaptable and methodical with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Client care/customer service skills
- Ability to read financial ledgers
- Desirable: Knowledge and understanding of interventions
- Solicitors Accounts Rules
