Position: Accounts Assessor โ Interventions
Salary: Dependant on experience
Office base: Wigan, WN3 5BA
Hours: 35 hours per week
What Makes This Role Great
- Working with us in the Interventions team will give you a unique insight into legal finance, regulatory compliance, and client care.
- Youโll gain hands-on experience in: Attending interventions across the UK; Reviewing and reconciling financial records; Producing reconciled lists of accounts for Statutory Trust funds; Analysing client ledgers to determine beneficial entitlement; Locating supporting evidence from accounting material or client files; Liaising with clients and third parties to verify transactions; Supporting the claims process and reporting to regulatory bodies; Assisting with monthly billing and administrative tasks.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Relevant work experience in legal accounts or solicitors firm
Desirable:
- Experience as a Legal Cashier
Experience
Essential:
- Experience of dealing with customers/clients
- Experience of working with financial accounts
- Experience of dealing with high volumes of enquiries
Desirable:
- Experience of using various case management systems/accounts software
Knowledge & Skills
Essential:
- Good standard of IT skills (including Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Adaptable and methodical with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Client care/customer service skills
- Ability to read financial ledgers
Desirable:
- Knowledge and understanding of interventions
- Solicitors Accounts Rules
