What you will be doing:
- Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
- Checking invoice approvals, resolving queries and invoice discrepancies
- Processing supplier payments and assisting with payment runs
- Performing supplier statement reconciliations
- Managing the purchase ledger inbox and responding to supplier queries
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 20-25hrs in office, between the hours of 8am to 4pm (unfortunately no hybrid working)
Here's what we are looking for:
- Has previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Has experience with accounting software such as Xero or similar
- Has good organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
- Can communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
