Position Overview

The Student Recruitment department at Loughborough College Group seeks a Student Recruitment Officer to join the Admissions team. The role supports all student recruitment functions including Reception, Admissions, International & Enrolment, and provides an exceptional, friendly, and responsive service to applicants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support across all student recruitment functions.
  • Operate within a flexible and adaptable work environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate independently and as part of a team.
  • Utilise a wide range of IT systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with reception duties, admissions processing and international/enrolment activities.
  • Support data entry, record‑keeping and reporting tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Good level of IT skills and the ability to work with a wide range of systems.
  • Outstanding focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Experience working in an educational environment is an advantage but not essential.
  • Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • UK applicants must meet the enhanced DBS check requirement.

Visa Requirements (EU Citizens)

  • EU citizens arriving after 1 January 2021 must apply for a Tier 2 visa.
  • The role must meet an educational standard of at least A levels.
  • The salary must be a minimum of £25,600 unless in a shortage area or the applicant has a PhD relating to the role.
