Overview

PE Teacher at Bridge Academy, Milton Keynes, South East. Salary: MPS/UPS. Contract: Full-time, permanent.

We are seeking a dynamic teacher who believes in bringing out the best in every student, with a passion for holistic education and a commitment to supporting the wellbeing and life chances of vulnerable young people, including those with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons that meet the needs of students at their stage of development.
  • Engage students with imaginative and creative teaching approaches, while maintaining resilience, high expectations, and pupil progress.
  • Support pastoral concerns as part of the daily routine to promote holistic education and student wellbeing.
  • Work with vulnerable pupils, including those with SEMH, to enable inclusive and successful learning experiences.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent) and current teaching entitlement.
  • Experience or strong interest in teaching pupils with SEMH or similar needs.
  • Ability to be creative, engaging, and responsive to individual pupil needs.
  • Resilience, drive, and the ability to inspire students to achieve.
