Overview

In this role you support the Legal Project Management (LPM) function within the Commercial Litigation team, focusing on group actions. You drive processes, data handling, and client-facing reporting to improve efficiency and consistency. You will work with the GAC team and cross-functional colleagues, promoting LPM across the firm and contributing to business development. The position blends operational project work with training and strategic initiatives, in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workstreams, tasks and deadlines on matters, including chairing meetings and circulating action points
  • Oversee cost management, including complex billing, third-party costs, and budgets
  • Produce progress reports for clients, funders, and insurers
  • Administer client portals and other tech solutions for client management
  • Administer and improve Case Funnel (mass claim management) processes
  • Create trackers and dashboards to manage large data volumes and reporting
  • Support legal project management strategy and advise on non-matter processes
  • Train lawyers in legal project management and promote LPM across the firm
  • Contribute to business development through articles and case studies
  • Build strong relationships across legal and business services teams and with the wider Innovation team

Key requirements

  • Experience in a professional services environment and working as part of a team
  • Experience with MS Excel and MS Planner
  • Experience with generative AI applications
  • Experience in process improvement / driving change
  • Experience working with large quantities of data
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to build relationships at all levels
