In this role you will advise and support corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals on UK immigration matters, helping secure sponsor licences, visas, and related approvals. You will work with a leading immigration team to handle complex applications and client matters, contributing to the firm’s growth and reputation in both corporate and personal immigration. Responsibilities
- Advise corporate clients on sponsor licence applications, management and compliance; prepare Certificates of Sponsorship and Skilled Worker/Global Business Mobility applications
- Assist HNW individuals and families on Investor, Innovator Founder, Global Talent, EU Settlement Scheme, Settlement, citizenship, and related applications
- Support offshore energy clients with sponsorship and visa needs for crew in UK waters (surveying, O G, offshore wind)
- Attend client meetings/calls and advise on immigration options
- Independently manage own client matters and applications; supervise paralegals
- Liaise with clients, Home Office, and stakeholders to progress matters efficiently
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and supporting evidence; conduct legal research and stay updated on immigration law
- Support business development activities and present on immigration topics at events
- Collaborate with Private Wealth, Employment and Marine Trade Offshore teams
Key requirements
- Experience in a respected immigration practice; track record with corporate and high-net-worth clients
- Strong knowledge of UK immigration law and applications for corporate and private clients
- Excellent drafting and communication skills; able to explain complex issues clearly
- Attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
