Team Structure
The Talent Development team delivers high quality business skills programmes and development support to equip our people with the skills they need to do their best work and maximise their potential. The team consists of the Head of Talent Development, Senior Manager, Manager, Adviser (this role) and Assistant in London, with a Manager and Assistant in Hong Kong. The Talent Development team is part of the wider People function which is responsible for the attraction, engagement, development, progression and retention of our people.
Working as part of a highly collaborative, ambitious and energetic Talent Development team, this is a stimulating role with responsibility for a variety of learning, development and talent management related activities and makes a key contribution to the delivery of an impactful and highly regarded curriculum.
Main Responsibilities
- Programme manage the delivery of training programmes and ensure effective organisation, delivery and follow up
- Ensure programmes have defined learning objectives, that the style and structure of sessions and the flow of learning appropriately meets these, and that up to date and effective techniques and styles of delivery are employed
- Design, deliver and facilitate training and workshops on a bespoke/ad-hoc basis independently, with team members or with external experts
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues across the firm to ensure training programmes are highly successful
- Add to, refresh and update learning materials and programmes as necessary to ensure continuous improvement and to reflect changing priorities and in response to feedback
- Identify and select training providers who have expertise that meet the requirement.
- Manage our ongoing relationships with training providers to ensure the provision of the highest quality of training
- Deliver value for money on all training – and set and manage the budget for your programmes
- Assist the Senior Manager in the delivery of practice/team/office Insights training and facilitation

Attributes/Skills Required
- Relevant learning, development and talent management experience to confidently fulfil the key responsibilities of the role (as above)
- A track record in managing all aspects of the training cycle: training needs analysis, design, facilitation, delivery, programme management and evaluation
- Experienced trainer and presenter
- Insights accredited practitioner (or a willingness to undertake qualification)
- Minimum of 2 years talent/L&D within the professional services or law firm sectors (other equivalent experience will be considered). At least one year as an Adviser (other equivalent experience will be considered).
