Team Structure:

The Talent Development team delivers high quality business skills programmes and development support to equip our people with the skills they need to do their best work and maximise their potential. The team consists of the Head of Talent Development, Senior Manager, Manager, Adviser and Assistant (this role) in London, with a Manager and Assistant in Hong Kong. The Talent Development team is part of the wider People function which is responsible for the attraction, engagement, development, progression and retention of our people. Working as part of a highly collaborative, ambitious and energetic Talent Development team, this is a stimulating role with responsibility for a variety of learning, development and talent management related activities and makes a key contribution to the delivery of an impactful and highly regarded curriculum.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling, organising and administering various training programmes across all populations of the firm
  • Owning all administrative tasks in the learning management system (LMS), ensuring training records are up to date, attendance is recorded and videos have been edited and uploaded
  • Being an LMS "super user" in order to troubleshoot any system related issues, generate reports and train new users
  • Managing of the Talent Development shared inbox by promptly responding to queries
  • Managing a busy Talent Development calendar, including scheduling team meetings
  • Liaising with internal/external trainers to arrange suitable dates for delivery of training sessions
  • Supporting internal/external trainers to deliver virtual training sessions, ensuring that the technology runs smoothly and assisting with breakout rooms
  • Keeping the Talent Development intranet pages updated
  • Generating joiners/leavers, feedback and other reports
  • Processing invoices and updating invoice trackers
  • Keeping sponsorship agreements spreadsheet updated
  • Providing regulatory/compliance support to Senior Talent Development Manager
  • Building relationships with other business services colleagues such as BD and Marketing, IT, Facilities and the wider People team
  • Managing and continuously improving administrative processes

Attributes/Skills Required:

  • Excellent administrative, organisational, planning and coordination skills
  • Very strong eye for detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – articulate and able to communicate with all levels and via different media
  • Strong IT and systems' skills, in particular: AI models, Excel, Video conferencing platforms, and experience in using a Learning Management System is highly desirable
  • Proactive, energetic and can-do in approach
  • Ability to take ownership of all tasks until completion
  • Excellent relationship building/interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise, manage and complete multiple tasks from a variety of people – working with others and on own tasks
  • Collaborative and a team player
  • Ideally worked within the professional services / law firm sector
