Team Structure
The London accounts team currently comprises of 40 employees and is headed up by Simon Griffith, the Director of Accounts, who reports into Hamedeh Ghobadian, the Chief Finance Officer. The team is made up of several discrete sections: management accounts; purchase ledger; partnership accounting; credit control; cashiering and billing.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparation and processing of the firm's invoices and credit notes in line with the firm's policies.
- Dealing with fee earner and secretary queries on billing related matters including time transfers, fee allocations and write offs.
- Assisting with the maintenance of the client & matter database
- Ensuring the correct fee rates are in place
- Assisting with chasing missing timesheets
- Potentially assisting with clients requiring e-billing but not essential
- Ad hoc duties as required
