A global proprietary trading firm with offices in Zurich, Dubai, Chicago and New York is seeking an experienced Systematic Futures Trader to join its expanding London team. The firm trades systematic and semi-systematic strategies across global futures and financial markets and is now entering a new phase of growth in Europe.
Role Overview
You will design, implement, and manage systematic trading strategies across CME, ICE, and EUREX futures markets. The focus is on intraday to short-term trading (holding periods from same day to five days). The role suits traders with a strong quantitative background, technical expertise, and a proven record of profitable performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise systematic futures strategies using Python or C++.
- Manage portfolio risk and capital allocation within firm parameters.
- Monitor and refine performance using real-time and historical data.
- Collaborate with engineering and research teams to enhance infrastructure and tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience trading CME or EUREX futures at a prop firm, hedge fund, or similar.
- Proven profitable track record with strong risk-adjusted returns.
- Proficiency in Python or C++ and a solid grasp of market microstructure.
- Focused on alpha generation through research and data, not reliant on ultra-low latency.
- Sharpe Ratio of 3+ over a 12 month period
