We are partnered with a well-established Wealth Management firm with an AUM in excess of £20bn.
The business is now going through a stage of growth and they're looking to hire in their Manchester office.
There is an opportunity to inherit a small book of business but the focus is on hiring someone who can build a client base and develop new business.
The Investment Manager/Director will be responsible for hosting client meetings, ensuring that the firm acts honestly, fairly, professionally and in the client's best interest at all times.
The successful candidate will be familiar with financial markets and will manage discretionary portfolios in line with clients' risk profiles and investment objectives.
Any Investment Manager at the firm must also be fully aware of, and adhere to, the firm's compliance obligations and current and future FCA regulatory requirements.
Experience
- 10+ Years experience in private banking/wealth management
- History of dealing with HNW clients, and managing client relationships
- Strong understanding of asset allocation and suitability, and a familiarity with investment regulation
- Proven track record of client retention
- Transferable book is preferable but priority is to hire someone who has the drive to grow a significant book.
- Character
- Self starter who is gregarious and enjoy working in a team
- Eagerness to play a an active part in a growing business
