Stephenson Academy provides education for students aged between 9 and 16 years. We are the local SEN provision for students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality, individualised curriculum that meets the needs of our students and supports successful outcomes for all. Our staff team is drawn from all walks of life, creating a dynamic and diverse workforce that reflects the community we serve.

  • An understanding individual who can put themselves in others’ shoes and communicate different perspectives, to enhance our students’ understanding of the world.
  • A team player, who can work well with staff and students alike and can communicate at the young person’s level in a calm and professional way.
  • An HLTA who can teach, or is willing to teach, across a variety of subjects at KS3 and KS4, as we continue to develop and refine our curriculum offer.
