The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Finance Administrative Assistant to join our Finance team at Stephens Scown. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and processes in a friendly, supportive environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function, assisting with a range of administrative and financial tasks.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the finance team with administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and document management
- Processing invoices, expenses, and purchase orders
- Assisting with billing tasks and financial reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records and databases
- Handling internal queries in a timely and professional manner
- Supporting month-end and year-end finance activities
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to ensure smooth financial operations
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong administrative experience (finance experience a bonus but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- A willingness to learn and work collaboratively
- A proactive approach and the ability to prioritise work effectively
