Stephens Scown is seeking a Solicitor with 0–3 years’ PQE to join our Property Litigation team, with a particular focus on social housing work. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career solicitor to develop their expertise within a highly regarded and supportive team, working on meaningful matters that have a real social impact.
You will be involved in a broad range of property litigation matters relating to social housing, acting for registered providers, local authorities, and other housing sector clients. The work is varied, challenging, and intellectually stimulating, offering strong technical development alongside the opportunity to build long‑term client relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Supporting senior lawyers on more complex matters
- Advising clients on housing management issues and disputes
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and legal documentation
- Representing clients in court hearings and mediations where appropriate
- Contributing to business development and client relationship activities

- Are qualified Solicitors with 0–3 years’ PQE
- Have experience of, or a strong interest in, property litigation and/or social housing law
- Demonstrate strong drafting, organisational, and communication skills
