We are looking for an experienced horticulturist / gardener to lead a small team and take a hands‑on role in our garden maintenance work across Edinburgh.
You will maintain private gardens and commercial grounds, organise daily tasks and support your team in delivering a consistently high standard of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying plants and understanding their care requirements.
- Lawn mowing, edging and strimming.
- Hedge cutting and seasonal pruning.
- Weeding and maintaining beds and borders.
- Keeping gardens and grounds tidy and well presented.
- Using and maintaining garden machinery, tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Organising the team’s work and ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
Sound plant knowledge and practical garden maintenance experience are essential. You should be reliable, organised and confident guiding a small team while taking an active role in the work.
