As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the accounts team by maintaining and assisting with the purchase ledger process.
Responsibilities:
- Filing of invoices and supplier statements
- Input of invoices to Dealer Management/Accounting System
- Month-end admin support
- Reconcile supplier statements ahead of BACS runs
- Monitor the Purchase Ledger inbox and handle queries
- Update spreadsheets and accounting databases
- Manage office supplies and handle general office tasks
- Communicate professionally with suppliers
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Your profile:
- Able to handle tasks that may be repetitive in nature, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
- A proactive team player with excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Interest in accounts payable
- Good numerical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Have basic/intermediate knowledge of MS packages including Microsoft Excel
