Stephen James Consulting continue to work with one of their established not-for-profit elderly care providers in the search for a Registered Home Manager (Clinical) for a large nursing and residential care home based in the Midlands. This is a senior leadership opportunity within a well-established service delivering high-quality nursing, residential, dementia, and respite care. The role requires a confident clinical leader with strong governance experience who can provide visible leadership, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive consistently high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing strong, visible leadership across all operational and clinical aspects of the home
- Acting as the Registered Manager, holding full accountability for quality, compliance, and performance
- Leading, developing, and supporting a multidisciplinary clinical and care team
- Embedding a proactive, risk-aware approach to clinical governance and continuous improvement
- Ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including CQC
- Leading on CQC inspection readiness and ongoing regulatory engagement
- Creating and sustaining a positive, values-led culture focused on person-centred care
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Active NMC PIN (RGN essential)
- Around 3+ yearsβ experience as a Registered Home Manager
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance, and inspection processes
- Proven experience managing large clinical and care teams
- A confident, resilient, hands-on leadership style
