Stephen James Consulting is partnering with an established care home provider to recruit an experienced Clinical Home Manager for a large, mixed-service nursing home in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded service that provides high-quality nursing, residential, dementia, respite, and short-stay care within a modern, purpose-built environment. The provider is seeking a commercially minded leader with a proven track record of managing nursing homes, driving occupancy, and delivering excellent clinical and operational outcomes. The successful candidate will be a resilient and influential leader, capable of building strong relationships, engaging teams, and creating a positive culture focused on achieving shared goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong leadership and direction across all areas of the service
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and clinical excellence
  • Drive occupancy, reputation, and overall commercial performance of the home
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, clinical governance standards, and company policies
  • Lead, support, and develop the management and care teams
  • Monitor quality, performance, and outcomes, driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve operational objectives
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Home Manager within a nursing home setting
  • Strong clinical leadership experience within elderly care services
  • Proven ability to improve occupancy and drive commercial performance
  • Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and clinical governance
  • Resilient and confident leadership style with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Strong communication, organisational, and people management skills
  • Passion for delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for residents

This role offers a salary of £65,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
