Stephen James Consulting continue to partner with one of their established elderly care providers in the search for an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager to support a small portfolio of residential and nursing homes across the South-East. This is a pivotal leadership role, and forms part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) you will play a key role in supporting Home Managers, maintaining exceptional care standards, with a real focus on driving quality improvement across the homes, while contributing to the long term success of the operational outcomes across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing leadership and operational oversight across a portfolio of nursing, residential and dementia care homes
  • Providing strong clinical leadership to support safe, effective and person-centred care
  • Supporting and developing Home Managers to deliver high-quality services
  • Driving quality improvement in CQC outcomes, clinical governance and regulatory compliance
  • Monitoring performance, identifying risk, and implementing corrective action plans
  • Supporting services through clinical, staffing and operational challenges
  • Working closely with senior leadership to deliver agreed quality and business objectives

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Regional Manager within elderly care
  • Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC PIN - Not Essential
  • Strong track record of improving quality, stabilising services and supporting Home Managers
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance and compliance frameworks and quality improvement
  • A supportive but robust leadership style with strong communication skills
