Stephen James Consulting is working on behalf of one of our clients in the search for an Employee Relations HR Business Partner. This is a national role, offering hybrid working with travel across the UK, along with regular meetings in Leeds. This role will play a key part in supporting operational and support teams across the business, providing expert guidance on employee relations matters and driving engagement and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a wide range of complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management
- Providing coaching and guidance to managers on ER matters and best practice
- Leading on employee relations processes through to resolution, including escalations where required
- Supporting change management projects including restructures and TUPE
- Using data and insights to identify trends and improve employee engagement and retention
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across operational and education teams
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Proven experience managing complex ER casework, including up to tribunal level
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience working in a multi-site or regulated environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
