Stephen James Consulting is working with one of its established elderly care providers in the search for a Clinical Deputy Home Manager based in Suffolk. We're seeking an experienced, qualified nurse-deputy to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the service and to maintain high standards of clinical care and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
- Providing strong clinical leadership to nursing and care teams
- Overseeing audits, medication management, and regulatory compliance
- Supporting staff development through coaching, mentoring, and supervision
- Working with the leadership team to maintain and improve quality outcomes
This is a largely supernumerary position with a Monday–Friday working pattern, offering the opportunity to play a key leadership role within an established service.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- An active UK NMC PIN (RGN or RMN)
- Experience within a nursing home environment
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance
- Leadership experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or senior nurse
The role offers a salary of £60,000, working 45 hours per week, with participation in the on-call rota.
