Stephen James Consulting are working with one of their established, family-run elderly care providers in the search for an experienced Commissioning Manager based in Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Commissioning Manager or experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead the commissioning and successful launch of a large elderly nursing home. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving occupancy, clinical quality, team development, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commissioning and mobilisation of the elderly nursing home
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing clinical and operational team
  • Ensure safe, effective, person-centred elderly care delivery
  • Drive occupancy, reputation, and overall business performance
  • Maintain strong CQC compliance, governance, and clinical standards
  • Build a positive culture focused on quality care and resident outcomes
  • Work closely with senior leadership to support service growth

Requirements:

  • Nurse or non-nurse candidates considered
  • Ideally an active UK NMC PIN (RGN or RMN), not essential
  • Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager, Nursing Home Manager, or Home Manager within elderly care
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
