Stephen James Consulting are currently working with an expanding elderly provider who are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Business Manager based in West Sussex. The Commercial Business Manager will be responsible for an individual care centre, which offers a range of comprehensive facilities and services devised to meet the varied needs of their residents. Taking a pivotal role in sales strategy, with a particular focus on private pay residents, to maximise sales opportunities which achieve revenue growth.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring monthly and annual enquiry, conversion and occupancy targets are met and delivering excellence in managing the customer journey for those seeking care.
- Liaising closely with the Home Manager and Marketing Executive to create and deliver a rolling three-month sales and marketing action plan.
- Using social media to build a strong network locally.
- Establishing and maintaining various local community relationships, staying focused on key activity in the local community to identify opportunities which support the sales action plan.
- Building excellent relationships with commissioners gaining trust and credibility.
- Establishing strong working relationships with local care homes to develop a home-to-home referral network.
- Following the defined sales & marketing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
To be considered for this role, you will need the following experience:
- A strong background in commercial sales (ideally with Health and Social Care) or other highly regulated industries.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with strong organisational and planning skills.
- The ability to develop tailored solutions based on client needs.
- Strong commercial skills and experience managing P&Ls.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
