Stephen James Consulting is seeking an exceptional leader to manage a Children’s Residential Home in Shrewsbury; our client operates a purpose-built children’s home offering high-quality overnight short-break (respite) care for children and young people with disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a dedicated team, shape the future of the service, and make a genuine, lasting difference to the lives of children and young people.
Key responsibilities include:

Requirements:
- We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate leader who is passionate about achieving the very best outcomes for children and young people with disabilities.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or an equivalent qualification recognised under the Department for Education’s Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations)
- A strong working knowledge of Ofsted’s Social Care Common Inspection Framework and the expectations of the regulatory body.
