Regional Support Manager (RGN) | Elderly Care | Essex Stephen James Consulting are delighted to be partnering with a developing elderly care provider in the search for a Regional Support Manager (RGN), covering a portfolio of nursing homes across Essex.
Our client is a leading care home provider, renowned for its forward-thinking approach and commitment to delivering outstanding care to residents across its portfolio.
This newly created role of Regional Support Manager (RGN) will support homes across Essex and presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced multi-site leader looking to join a progressive and growing organisation.
Key
Responsibilities
- To carry out specific operational or quality projects within a Home or across the area as directed by the Head of Operation's
- To provide strong, professional leadership in the Homes and to ensure the efficient and economical use of pre-agreed resource level.
- Providing advice and support to Home Managers and senior staff in a Home to assist them to achieve the highest standards of care and quality.
- Undertaking key operational and quality project work, either in relation to a specific Home or Homes within the area: i. e. management reviews, audit or investigations, team building, mentoring and training.
- To be considered for this role, you will need the following experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a successful Registered Home Manager with a valid NMC PIN (RGN / RMN) essential
- Able to demonstrate a first-rate understanding of the current CQC regulations, safeguarding, and local authority procedures.
- Hold a recognized care management qualification (e. g. Level 5 /7)
- Evidence excellent time management skills.
- Strong understanding around clinical issues / audits.
- Demonstrated success in achieving financial targets and driving operational improvements.
